Pub Crawl November 10

Hello again, SUE community! As mentioned in the first post of the year, we have a lot of fun events planned throughout the school year. One in particular, our Downtown/Stephen Ave Pub Crawl, is coming up this reading week on November 10th! Tickets are $10 and include a beer and buffet-style appies at our first pub (Broken City). The pub locations will be Broken City, Last Best, Craft Beer Market, Local, and Unicorn in that order! The event starts at 5pm. Please note that there will be no organized transportation from campus to the pub, but the C-Train goes directly there from the university. Happy October, everyone! How are midterms going? It’s a stressful time of year and SUE is here to help you. Don’t forget that weekly study sessions are held every Monday and Tuesday in SS403 from 5-6pm. They are respectively hosted by Tiara Kerr and Steve Myles and are open to any and all economics students seeking support in their classes. S.U.E. Friends, We would like to thank all who attended our SUE mixer last tuesday, and welcome our new members that signed up at the event! We are pleased to announce that our first mixer of the year was a resounding success, although we didn’t have much time, we had a great turnout and a lot of fun! At the mixer we had a panel of 3 speakers: Branden Cave (past SUE exec and current VP OpFi for the SU), Keyli Kosiorek (SUE’s Executive VP) and Craig Scott (senior UofC Econ student).
