It’s that time of year again- leaves are changing colour, students are migrating back to campus, and the Society of Undergraduate Economics Students (SUE) executive team is excitedly anticipating what we have planned for the upcoming year!
Join us for a different kind of club crawl during Orientation Week Campus Expo and Clubs Week! You can find us excitedly discussing the current price of oil while waiting for you to join us at our booth in the Quad area by TFDL during campus expo from 12:30-4:00pm on Tuesday, September 1st. Or, if coming to campus a week before classes start isn’t your thing, come meet us at our booth in the MacEwan Student Centre Courtyards during clubs week from Monday, September 14th to Wednesday, September 16th.
At our booth you can chat with us, your fellow economics students, realize just how awesome being a SUE member really is, and find out how easy it is for you to join! As a member, you can expect to gain access to SUE’s extensive exam bank, be paired up with experienced econ students if you join our first ever mentorship program, attend exclusive club events including industry nights that will be happening throughout the year, work productively with fellow suffering students in our peer review/study sessions, and take advantage of the strong support network through student socials, the first of which is scheduled for September 24th.
We would love to chat with you about everything from which profs we recommend, to our favourite places to eat on campus, to why we got interested in economics in the first place. So come join us and learn just how awesome your 2015/2016 year can be with SUE!
