We are almost there! The last week of classes is nearly here and SUE is hosting our last mixer of the year (the calendar year, that is). This Monday December 5th, we will have a large table reserved at the Den for good friends, good drinks, and good times. We do not have the Red Room reserved for this event so make sure to take a peek around the main restaurant for us! The event will start at 6pm and go until 9pm. This mixer will be Christmas themed, so that means break out the ugly sweaters! We will be giving away Zoo Lights tickets and free Hot Yoga passes to those who we think have the ugliest sweater.
SUE is also hosting our Industrial Organization Panel right before the mixer from 4pm-5:30pm in ST 126. This will be a panel style event where students will have the opportunity to listen to several past students and one current one to hear their opinions on the three courses commonly known as the regulatory or I.O. stream of economics (471 Industrial organization, 477 regulatory economics, and 571 competition policy). The panelists will include past graduates Santi Churphongphun, Senior Advisor of Regulatory and Environmental Affairs with Capital Power Corporation, and Greg Belyea of Enbridge. You will also hear from current honors and past I.O. stream student Raphael Jean. We hope to see everyone and their ugly sweaters this Monday!
