SUE Newsletter March 2019

Hey SUE Members!

Hopefully the semester is going well so far! We have a few important events coming up this month, including: SUE Elections, Den Mixer, and Snack & Chat!

SUE Elections:

If you are an enthusiastic student with a passion for serving your peers, creative ideas for how to make the U of C Econ experience better, and strong time management and leadership skills, then we encourage you to think about running for a VP role!

The positions of President, VP Academic, VP Communications, VP Events, and VP Finance will be up for election. For information on these positions, check out our website!

Candidates must declare their candidacy through the following form (…/1FAIpQLSc2zqYGbU4uzGGzuB…/viewform) by Wednesday, March 13 at 5pm. From there, candidates will then have seven days to campaign before the voting days of March 21 and 22.

Information about the hiring process for VP External, Executive VP, and all director positions will be distributed shortly after the election.

If you want more of an idea of what day-to-day responsibilities are, or have any questions regarding the election, feel free to contact us at
