1. Privacy Policy
1.1. Information Collection
We may collect limited personal information from students, such as names, email addresses, and program details, when users sign up for S.U.E. memberships to allow for access to EconPath’s features. Additional information may be collected automatically by Glide Apps, the platform hosting EconPath. Please refer to Glide App’s privacy policy for all up-to-date information of data collected.
1.2. Use of Information
All collected information will only be used for the purpose of logging into the application. EconPath generates virtual addresses to hide user email addresses when accessing the application to protect their personal information. Information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties, except where required by law or with explicit student consent. Information may be used in subsequent years for analytical purposes regarding memberships; this information may be aggregated and anonymized for internal reporting regarding membership analytics.
1.3. Cookies & Analytics
Cookies consent is optional during user login. If users do not select this option, they will be asked to sign in each time they access the app. Glide Apps may use cookies, local storage, or other measures for performance. By using EconPath, users acknowledge their usage of EconPath will be subject to Glide’s Privacy Policy.
1.4. Data Security
We will take reasonable steps to ensure personal data is stored securely. However, we cannot guarantee complete protection against unauthorized access. Because EconPath is hosted through Glide’s infrastructure, security is also subjected to Glide’s safeguards, which operates independently of EconPath.
1.5. Student Rights
Students may request the removal of their personal data at any time by contacting the EconPath administrators. If removal of data conflicts with minimum information requirements to maintain account information, this may result in loss of access to EconPath.
For data managed by Glide, users should also review Glide’s policies and may exercise rights directly with Glide’s privacy framework.
EconPath is powered by Glide Apps. By logging into EconPath, users agree to both this privacy policy and Glide’s privacy policy. Glide’s policy governs how they collect, utilize, and share data. Users are highly encouraged to review Glide’s privacy policy for additional details.
